Andrew Olson here, and I build guitars up here in Maine under the name AO Guitars. Figured I'd join the fray here at the Design, as I've seen my name around here and either met or spoken to a good handful of cats from this forum--and I've done guitar work for guys like Walker, Freen and most recently a new axe for Poster...and I think there are a couple guys in the works. Plus, I've been a rabid Phish fan for almost 20 years now, and hit about 130 shows during my run, so I figure we all have good shit to talk about.

Shameless Plug: Here at AO Guitars, I primarily build custom electrics. Been doing it almost 10 years now, and started off working building Spector Basses in Saugerties NY, and MTD in Kingston NY, building basses for Metallica, Pantera, AIC, Living Colour, Bowie, etc. Moved up to Maine and been working on my own--building, repairing, rewiring, modding, you name it. I'm now back into offering custom cables made from top-notch gear, as well. I'll post something more in-depth about the cable details soon.

And if I see any technical guitar questions and such, I'll be happy to try and help out! See you 'round the forum...

^ Awesome. Welcome AO! Another epic addition to the Design. We are progressing into quite the wookie clan here. I can dig it.  Grin

welcome dear
nice to meet you.

Dude, you are sketchy and unless you reply to this with some normal response, I'm going to ban you.  You've got 1 day.  And please don't refer to people as "dear"....that a little...uh....sketchy also.

Dear God, Man, Sh!t?

so i was checking these guitars out and the "look" of them is growing on me... sort of looks a bit like Jerrys Custom but more with the strat look.. or at least looks like its inspired by it.. really nice looking work andrew..

thanks HunSanity...definitely some inspiration there from Jerry's stuff. Plus, I've had my hands on Wolf, Rosebud, Bolt, TopHat and Wolf Jr, so that stuff rubs off on you after a while. They're a big reason that I got into building guitars in the first place. And then there's some dude named Languedoc...

And I'm not so sure about the "dear" part either, bilalamjad3. I do happen to be adorable, however...

thanks for watching out, Benny.
