this is a video of a local guy round my area, northern NJ.  He's actually from the Hudson Valley NY area but it's pretty close.  Anyways, super nice guy, and outrageous player, without a doubt the best guitar player I know.  His name is John Bendy.  Plays a bit in NYC on weeknights and does quite a bit of work with Jaco's kids too.  His brother Mike is also quite a monster on bass but he's not in this video.  Check em out, I'd love to see this guy on the big stages very soon.

Ahhhhh Oakland Park Florida..... That is a great area for live music in the Ft Lauderdale area. Great blues and jazz bands. Went to college and lived there back in 93. Spent 4 years in and the rest of my life trying to get back there!

Great Dead cover bands there too..
