I just bought a Black Ross Compressor, should be here in a couple days, but I couldn't find much info on powering it. I use a PP2+, so I have a 3.5mm jack, but I wasn't sure if it would be the correct polarity.

Anyone know if the 3.5mm on the PP2+ would be correct, or do I need an adapter? If so, which adapter?

Don't quote me but it looks like a 1/8" power jack; not a Boss style.  And I think the tip is 9 volts + and the ring is ground.
I looked here to get my assumptions.

Yea - 3.5mm = 1/8th"

Ross is negative ground

PP2+ adapter is tip positive

Just not sure if the Ross's polarity is tip positive

I bet it is.  Same as my Big Muff Pi.  Anyway someone else will chime in soon I'm sure.  Worse case is that you just cut and re-splice your adapter wire.  I do that all the time when I'm being cheap and desperate.:)

Don't know if this will help you or not...I don't know what a PP2+ thingy majigg is, but i have a black Ross and it has a smaller jack than the standard 9v supply jack.  So I bought a 3.5mm converter so I could plug my OneSpot daisy chain right into the Ross.  I haven't had any problems with it.  I don't know anything about power sources, I power all my pedals with 1 Onespot daisy chain....check out my signature to see my pedals- I just can't justify spending a pretty penny for a power supply since my daisy chain works just fine.

EDIT:  This is what i use:
Guitars: Schecter c/sh-1 (SD 59 PUPs), Michael Kelly Valor CT, Fender Montara Acoustic/Electric

ok, so it seems it ought to work with my PP2+ and the 3.5mm adapter...

I'm assuming the "+" basically just means its a "male" segment, instead of a "-" which would mean female? Or am I wrong?

Sweet - starting to feel confident the adapter with my Pedal Power will work. I have one of those little ones too, using it with my Rat.

I assume I will be selling my Retro Sonic Compressor once I get the Ross.

There is a Black one ending today, auction is at $100

There is a Grey one ending tomorrow, auction is at $200

I almost bought a Black one months ago for $180, so I am pretty happy with $140.
