Title: gig-fx chopper
Post by: Happyorange27 on July 11, 2012, 02:37:23 PM
Hey some of you might think this is lame but I think it might be useful.  I just want it for it's square wave tremolo.  It completely bypasses when in full heel position too.

played with someone who has one last weekend, but we didn't talk about it, I think we are jamming tomorrow, so I can ask him his opinion.

Just ordered a used Chopper.  Excited to play with it when it arrives.

Got a used one.  The 9 volt jack is a bit touchy but I can make it robust.  However if I put it after my Flashback, I get some terrible idle noise.  WTF?  Need to figure out what is going on there.  Otherwise it's fine if I take the Flashback out of the rig.  More to come.

Maybe an issue with the impedance?

I really like it!  It is in true bypass when rocked fully back. Just tilt it forward and you are doing the square wave with rate control.  If I take out my jamman out of my rig I don't have the ground loop issue. Since I bought mine used I suspect abuse. Anyway get one!
