Post by: strato on August 23, 2010, 06:21:25 PM
The picks that Trey uses and Jerry made famous.  I have a ton of them, I cleaned out a store a few years back when they were discontinued.  I'm lookin to sell some, so lemme know if interested.  Thanks!

Once again, I have many unopened bags of these that I bought when I cleaned out a store a few years ago.  I need some cash and I am looking to sell some, let me know if interested.  Thanks!

OK, so I have had a lot of emails on these.

Here is an auction of mine on ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/Adamas-Addamas-2mm-NEW-graphite-guitar-picks-pics-/250694281237?pt=Guitar_Accessories&hash=item3a5e8b2815

You can see my feedback.

I will sell bags for $35 a piece.  If you buy more than 5 bags, I will discount.  If you want any, paypal me at strato72000@yahoo.com

Also email me your address.

I will cover shipping, and mail the day after I receive payment.

Thanks.

Hee hee. I just got my 2 picks from strato today. They are nice. Not incredibly better than my 1.5 mm Dunlops but indeed better. Zero flexing. Oh and I tried to play them like Trey; pointy side on the strings. If you all read the gear page post link, you know what I mean.

Blam!  Whoops, sorry.

Dunlop still sells these picks for about $18 for a bag of 12, including shipping.  Call them at 1.707.745.2722 to order.

They also make a great bass pick, especially if you want Mike or Phil tones.

^One of my favorite posts on this forum.  Just wanted to celebrate it again.

Oh hell since I'm on the subject... I tried the Telefunken picks but I don't like the knurled grip because that is the part that i use to touch the strings.  So i'm tempted to sand of the knurl.  This isn't a problem with Adamas picks (no knurl).

knurl |nərl|
noun
a small projecting knob or ridge, esp. in a series around the edge of something.

knurl |nərl|:
This may be a candidate for a band name. Or at least something to try and incorporate in a sentence everyone in awhile.

Dude I use "knurl" all the time.  I design packaging tape heads and they have to have knurled rollers so that the tape doesn't stick to them.  Critical feature for a tape head guru man, :P  Your barbell probably has a knurled handle on it.
