check out the cab in the background. I wonder if that's his old cabs or if he did in fact decide to go with the ht cabs. I will give Glenn a cal land see if I can find out.

All aboard for the tour, riding next to the truth...

What Mesa did he play? and when?  Just curious.  I play Mesa's and love them.  But only these recent year Lonestar Special blondes.  They are quite versatile and very very buttery in every setting.

He used a Mark 1 I think? I know Cactus has one of whatever trey used. Either way, you know Mesa Boogie's were originally just fenders crammed into a smaller head unit right? I cant remember whether it was for Jerry or who but they got their first big commission by just cramming a fender twin into a head unit. Anything on the mesa line thats pre 1998 and labeled "blond" or anything with a sweet fenderish sounding name will most undoubtedly wail. I love the Lonestar Specials Ive played through, the problem I ever had was they love being super fucking LOUD. If I remember right the pair I recorded through this one time, used a speaker simulator rack to soak some of the volume so I could get the gain I wanted without any major tone suck ( I dont recall them either having a master volume built in, or rather effective ones )
