Title: Trey's Delay usage
Post by: seriesnuns on September 07, 2015, 05:21:28 PM
Anyone have any insight if Trey is still using the echoplex? Or are most of these new delays(this tour) coming from that new D-two?

I'm not sure but it would be cool to know. I know that's a real schmuck reply. Lol. I can tell you this: I love to see the guy have fun with new toys. It's refreshing to see new effects come and go. As well as "how" he uses them in songs. Whale call? Funk siren? Echoplex? Tru tron.. the list goes on.....

I didn't answer your question and I am sorry  :-[

Yea I was up close for the last 2 Watkins nights. His sound is getting pretty unreal when your that close. Almost like a thwacky sound as I would describe it.

He's defiantly using almost every effect he has troughout the shows. It's funny because in Miami was mesmerized by the reverse boomerang effect he had going on especially during the 46 days. I've heard him do it a few times since.

It seems like he's on to newer things with these other delays and the octave and tru tron.

Defiantly been a good summer for big red.

Trey dropped the Fulltone Tube Tape Echo this summer.

He just has the Ibanez DM2000, TC D-Two (replaced the Nova Repeater), and the Midiverb for now.
