Hey y'all, I did something a bit different this time around and transcribed part of Trey's solo on Piper from Saratoga 7/5/14. Just the first couple minutes of the solo, the G mixolydian part. I chose this solo because it's pretty short and to the point, and full of Trey-isms. Would love to hear what people think of this kind of lesson, and I'm wide open to suggestions for other solos to do this with.
Tab of the solo is here:

Well done sir. Thank you.
Yo this lesson kicks ass! At first I thought man he picked a slow moving segment. But then it really picks up. And you are right it is a very Trey-ish solo. It has a lot of licks that are signature Trey that we've all come to love. Great choice of jam my man! The time you put in for this is greatly appreciated. Thanks for sharing! This is why this forum is the best!
Thank you very much for this. Great type of lessons
Great vid! Only I was hoping to see you piece it all together at the end!
