well this section IS called your rig
and i was bored so

epiphone casino > q-tron+ > gcb 95 crybaby > whammy 4 > ts9 > mxr super comp > bad monkey OD > phase 90 > digitech multi chorus > little alligator volume > boss dd-20 delay > boss rc-20xl looper > giant piece of shit drive g120 amp.

im pretty happy now cept for that giant steaming smelly piece of poo amp. im waiting until i can get a vox or mesa boogie lonestar special.

and i need new pickups.
can you still have fun?

Yeah, get rid of that amp asap and trade in your MXR comp for a Keeley 4-knob or a Juicer from Analogman.

As for pups, I am very pleased with the Schaller Golden 50's that I put in my custom.  Sound great.

Also played my first show w/ the custom last night and it went swimmingly, we packed the place and they want us back every month at $400 a pop, so we're in.  Small little hole-in-the-wall dive bar, but hey, it pays well and the people love to dance, so it's a good combination.

PS - Lumpy -

If you've got the cash, head over to http://www.musictoyz.com/guitar/pedals/emma.php and plop it down for the Emma DiscumBOBulator - I find it a better pedal than the Qtron, but it's a matter of opinion, I guess.  Anyways, if you didn't like the Emma, you can always send it back to him.  Dude's shop is about 10 minutes from me over in Falmouth.  He can be an ass on the phone but I imagine it's cuz he's so busy dealing with the heavy hitters and his shop is blowing up right now.

Actually, screw that idea - first thing you need to do is send that Crybaby over to Gary @ garmopatmods and get that shit tweaked out.  Or just sell that Crybaby and buy one of his sickly modded Vox V847's and you'll never buy another wah in your life.

Are these wah's really that speacial. They are talked up like gold around here

I may have to call in an order, Soooon

question are the wah's really extreme? I play a lot of funk songs, and have done some funk gigs and i cant have anything that will wah to hard. rob i am sure you will know the answer to this question. I have the Rmc2 and i like the adjustable feature of it, but I feel that it dosnt work as well with my screamers when the are engaged. Is this thing fuz friendly? is it worth it to pull my rmc2 out of my line-up and put this wah in their? \"strangedesign\" would you think of pulling your RMC3 out of your rig for one of these guys?

Give me some feedback, I am lost right now.
Guitars- Parker Fly Mojo, McInturff Standard, gibson 446.

^^^ What he said

Not only that, I FUCKING LOVE engaging either or BOTH tubescreamers w/ the wah.  \"Fuzz friendly\" ???  How about these 2 pedals sound like 2 hot (female) pornstars they're fucking each other while high on E.  Yeah, they're that friendly together.

But seriously, it sounds fucking NASTY w/ the TS's engaged.  Wish I had my board here, I could just post an audio clip.  Hmmm....maybe I'll do that this week if I can find the time - I could use a good excuse to show you guys the new git and do that Drifting vid I've been meaning to do (though Rob, I can't seriously believe you don't have that down yet, it's like 3 fucking chords!)

Yeah, and apparently there also retardly hard to get even from the factory, which I hear is in Germany, which is where my guys got them from.  Took almost 2 months to deliver from the order date.  I'll see if I can get some info from my luthier and get back to you.  Personally, I fucking love them.  They sound great.

I used to have Schaller Golden 50's, in a gibson 335 copy I used to own (long since sold via ebay).  My (only) current guitar, a PRS SE Custom Semi-Hollowbody \"project\" I've been working on for a couple months, has Seymour Duncan '59's (model: SH-1n, SH-1b) with Gibson chrome covers soldered and waxed.  The Schaller's sang, but the SD '59 PAF's sound better to my ear; moreover, keep in mind that they're both going for the same type of sound and thus follow roughly the same construction/design principles--namely, the old Gibson PAF \"humbuckers\" (cf. any 1950's era Les Paul).
