;D well guys, I finally have the best guitar i have ever owned... smokes the PRS SE semi hollow i own and the PRS hollow archtop I played the same day. The best part about this whole thing... I found it completly out of the blue. I was in one of my local guitar strores on the wednesday before thanksgiving looking to compare the EHX micro synth and the pigtronix mothership, as well as pickup my ordered pigtronix echolution. When i got in to the store I walked up to the counter and the owner pulled out the pigtronix echolution pedal still in the fed ex box from the pigtronix warehouse (pigtronix echolution review coming soon... amazing pedal). I asked to try the micro synth and the mothership, he walked me back to plug them into an a/b pedal and a fender deluxe reverb (closest amp to my vibrolux in the strore) I had my PRS se semi hollow with me so I strated trying them out. I ended up buying the pigtronix mothership on the spot... review of that to follow soon as well. As i paid and was about to walk out of the store a PRS archtop caught my eye... i was used so on sale for $2,300... not bad. I plugged it in and loved it's sound and vibe... but the neck was very thick... more thick than the neck on my SE hollow. The more i played the more i got used to the neck and was about to buy the PRS... when i looked up at the wall of guitars and saw this weird shaped guitar. The guitar looked awsome... The tag said it was semi hollow but the bridge said otherwise  ;). I asked to play it and they got it down. As soon as i touched it i was in love. It is a fully hollow archtop guitar. with a birdseye maple top and flamed maple back and sides. A mahongany neck and two weird f-holes. a rosewood tailpiece and two seymour duncan 59 pickups. like i said the first thing i noticed was the bridge and how it was fully hollow... I plugged it in to the fender reverb again and was blown away! amazing sounds... needless to say i bought it. I found out it was made by a guy In buffalo,NY and he was selling it on consignment through the music store. anyway... sorry for the long rant here... just very excited about all the great gear i pickedup... very tough to be direct and to the point haha. Anyway pictures and a better review of the guitar will be up very soon! and some sound clips and reviews or the pedals i bought as well as pics of my whole rig which has gone through more changes in 3 months than it had if 5 years haha. So who's the builder?

Not sure...  :-\ . They told me what his name was and i googled it... but nothing came up except that he was a luthier in buffalo and his email address. I can't remember his name now. I'll figure it out and get back to ya...

Thanks... it is one of the coolest I've seen. it kinda reminds me of a Ken Bebensee guitar actually... I have more pics, i just didn't bring my flash drive with me. I'll be home on sunday so i'll upload the rest of the pictures. And yes sir... I'm still very happy with it. There some things I want to change... actually I am looking into having AO do some work on it. Just a few minor things, like removing the neck pickup's volume and puting a series parallel switch there... getting the guitar a pro set up and such. The little things that make a guitar a GUITAR, for lack of better words. All in all it is a really well made and attarctive guitar, the builder really paid a lot of attention to small details. The woods he used are amazing, considering how inexpensive the guitar was. He used a tung oil finish on it too... so the neck isn't plasitc feeling, or sticky. I'm sure there are better guitars out there... Ie. a languedoc or a AO, but for me it is the nicest guitar i've been able to play.
