Hmmm I just did some reading on this thing and it does look pretty interesting.  I'd really like to try one but need to allocate elsewhere right now.  Thanks for the review though, gives me (yet another ::)) something to think about down the line.

only problem you will have using it in a "trey" type rig, is that since its a solid state pedal, it will make the whammy 2 hiss. (any digital distortion does that).

I'm confused. All tube screamer type pedals are solid state. They are analog but still solid state. And I don't think your pedal is digital (ones and zero's). It is analog as well. So it should be the same as running a tube screamer or a klon or whatever.

NOPE!  :D a ts9 circuit has little in common with this pedal. these run off firmware and are completely digital. like an effects processor. like the digitech whammy 2
I don't want to ruin it for you but the option 5 destination rotation 2 is a 100% analog circuit. I had to email the guy that makes them to be sure because there isn't a whole lot of info on the web about them. That is a good thing though. I don't think having a digital pre-amp type of pedal would be very desirable. Kind of like the "legal buds" they sell in high times or sex with a blow up doll. Similar but not even close to the real thing. The O5 DO2 does sound like a great pedal. People rave about them and they are pretty inexspensive. I'll have to try one.
