What happened to Vida Blue? That was probably one of my favorite side projects for sure. Saw a couple gigs and it was great. I wonder why page doesnt do more with those guys.
Not sure if his divorce had anything to do with it, but I think it ended right around that time. Plus he's had a kid (two?) since then, so maybe that's his focus in the "off-season".
Those were fun show's but at the same time I definetly missed hearing a guitar player. I don't think they have done anything since 2004. At the state theater in portland, Russell Batiste came on stage smoking a big blunt, walked up to the front of the stage and was blowing it at the crowd and shit. I enjoy that type of stuff but still, no guitarist.
ugh, maybe it was a fluke but i hated the only vida blue show i saw.
mainly becuase the opening act played for an hour and 10 minutes and was so horrendous i nearly killed myself, by the time vida blue came out i was in such a bad mood i left halfway through the set.
