So I was considering adding a Leslie speaker to my rig and while looking/considering this purchase I ended up coming across a Hammond CV tonewheel organ, which is a predecessor to the B3 and C3 and can be modified to achieve the percussive sounds of the B3. I'm so pumped about this purchase. Gonna get me back into playing some keys. Thing is badass, comes with the bence and 2 octaves of footpedals. I think it was one of the first organs to have chorus and vibrato even. I could be wrong though. The thing is built like a tank, and functions properly and all. A little dirty, so I'm gonna have to do some serious and careful cleaning, but first order of business is just getting it to my house this week. Then back to looking for a Leslie cabinet, but at least this time it will be to use for a Hammond organ, as well as for gigs with the guitar!

Just got it in my house today. After I get it cleaned up and wood polished when I get back from tour I'll take some pics so you can see what a beauty it is. Maybe even some sound clips once I have a leslie speaker for it. I found one in town (Leslie 25 Orpheus), it only has a bottom speaker. But it should do fine for now. Guy is selling it for $250, I'm gonna try for $150 because I don't think he's having much luck selling it. He acquired it in a trade and has no need for it. For now though, here's a link to the expired Ebay listing for the organ. He ended up selling to me for $180 cash!
