I know this was brought up before but I can't remember the outcome so I'm asking again. Take a look at the video from Jimmy Fallon last night. It looks like the headstock is the old one with Marley chasing a cat and the thought bubble "who's the Mar-Mar?" in it.
Is this maybe his old guitar with a new finish on it?

Correction, it's his second guitar. From AO:
So yeah, that's definitely ol' #2, the spruce/maple guitar that we talked about gettin refinished on SD. However, it's not "Who's the Mar Mar?"--that's the first one, which was maple/padauk. This second one has Marley chasing a cat saying "I'm the Mar Mar." Man, I'm such a dork for these guitars.
Not sure why but I heard the band had to borrow gear for the fallon show. Anyone know the details?
I would have rented for a small show in New York lastnight. No reason to bring all the gear when Sandy is in town

Had to do with the storm:

Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the devastating hurricane. Thanks to the incredible people on the Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and TAB teams, we have managed to borrow enough equipment to pull off the performance on tonight's show. We'll be playing our hearts out for everybody whom is able to tune in to NBC at 12:35pm Eastern/11:35pm Central.
I would assume that their gear had to come into the show, and couldn't make it on account of the terrible weather...
anyone able to identify the amp he pulled together for this show?
Mesa Boogie Royal Atlantic 2x12

That's what I say, sounded good! Those amps have 3 different wattages per the two channels, pretty neat.
I didn't like the sound of that amp. :-\
I thought both of the original blonde Docs had a single coil slot in the middle position.
I liked how he had just one screamer on the floor.
