Title: Volume Pedal
Post by: Heady Jam Fan on January 23, 2013, 11:13:07 PM
Anyone know any details about how Trey uses his volume pedal?

Like is toe-down a boost from his normal rhythm and heel almost down his rhythm?
Is toe-down his normal and the amp channel switch is his only boost?
Or is his normal rhythm volume somewhere in the middle?

I think I've even seen some pics of his rig where the volume pedal is nowhere to be found.

TO my knowledge, he doesn't use the volume pedal anymore.

That's what I thought as well, he definitely did not have it when TAB played in Portland recently.

I have mine between my Phase and TS9 - I get a smoother sweep than my volume knob, plus less treble loss. I have a good volume pot too in my guitar. Its also easier to adjust when playing for me - I don't have jedi hands yet.
