I
I actually met Les and talked him up for a few outside after the Lewiston show that tour - which is also the only time I met Trey. Though we (Trey & I) spoke a few lines to each oter, he sure seemed much more interested in the cute junior that was chattin' him up. Can't blame him really..... 8)
But maybe it was the shows you saw or the seats, because the 2 shows I saw him at (Lewiston & Boston) and the recordings I have of a few from the tour, you could hear him plenty. I say plenty because obviously you don't want him overpowering, but I remember I could hear him just enough to the point where he wasn't getting in the way, but providing a good foundation of background music for the band to utilize. For some reason I ge the feeling he was always playing a lot of overdrive or distortion while playing the guitar....
his name sounds suspiciously like les paul....
