Title: Treys speakers 1992/93
Post by: connor117 on April 19, 2014, 09:42:31 PM
Dudes
What's speakers was trey using during this era?
Did he start with the celestion 30s that early?
Or was he using EVs that were commonly paired with Mesa boogies for years?
Discuss!

I thought he had the V30's in the homemade cabs.

That video is from the past year and he is definitely using G12s (specifically V30s), and I'm pretty sure they are the same ones from the early 90s.

They are not from the early 90's. Jimmy from Two Rock helped me with that. There are a black label 80's celestion. Great speakers. You have to literally check each one as they all sound a little different. Kimock uses some unmarked that are similar, well according to the amp tech. Sometimes a great speaker never needs to be replaced. My jbl 1966 alnico is still rowdy as shit.
