Title: Miami 2015 46 days
Post by: seriesnuns on January 30, 2015, 07:17:40 PM
Can someone clue me in on what effect he's using at this point

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=J1s7GxouwKM

Starts at 17:30

After that section he moves into a section using his whammy , 1 or 2 octaves down?

I'm guessing it's some sort of delay?

For sure it's the 'rang reverse, you can see him go to his left more than likely to turn on the digicrap switch after he records that one chord for a few measures.. (looks like he's barring the 7th fret and middle finger on 9th fret A string pinky on 10th on B string - looks like possibly a Bm7th jam?).

Check it - it starts to happen at 17:20 for a few measures then the reverse as you stated.  pretty cool to break it down!

So he reversing that note then I'm assuming he's going forward again with the whammy octaves  looping. The BOM BOM.

I may have to try one of these out. I have a boss dd-20 now that does ok at looping, but I'm really digging this reverse sound.

I thought Miami was awesome. Band sounded great the weather was great.
