Mine is also on an AO cable... gave me a problem just once, and has been fine ever since.   This would be about 50-75 gigs of use since the one problem gig.   Still... it made me nervous to order it and I don't think I'd get it again.  The only time it's really useful is when the soundguy puts you into a DI before your amp so you have no way of muting your signal to the PA.
