Last night after I managed to by a grey Ross pedal on Ebay while I was doing some sleepless web surfing and found this youtube video too.

Ladies and gentlemen, I introduce you to the "Silver Myth."

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sTB-w9ojgc4

It sounds identical to the Ross, at least to my ears - but I can't speak for the internet quality of the stream degrading the sound quality and making it difficult to differentiate.

So I did some research and this is the only website I can find that speaks anything of it, of course it's under the same name as the youtube video.

Here's the problem... Can any of you read Japanese?  I'm pretty sure I really wanna get one of these pedals, but when I did the Yen conversion to US dollars it was $478.12.  That seems like a steep price, but if they are building a very faithful version of the American made Ross Compressor, and its brand new, it might be worth it.  Or maybe that's a retail price and it is actually cheaper.

Also, there's a black pedal on the website and youtube video w/ side by side comparison to the Klon Centaur.  The pedal is called the Scylla II, but is even more expensive!  Soooo many Yen, so little time!
Guitars: Fender Clapton Strat, Ibanez AS80, Ibanez AF75, Malden Holly Keyser [SD Jazz (neck), SD '59 (bridge)], Carlo Robelli USH-500HB, Martin DC-1E ('98), and a Peavey Grind 5-string bass.

Effects in chain: Whammy II (dry out to Korg Tuner), RMC6, TS-9 ('82), TS-808 ('81), Ross Compressor, Fulltone SupaTrem, Fulltone DejaVibe2, TC Elec Nova Repeater, Ibanez Digital Modulation Delay III (DML20), Boomerang+, Alesis Microverb I, H&K Rotosphere MkII --> amps.

Amps: Mesa Boogie MkIII Blue Stripe, Egnator Rebel 20 head > Mesa Boogie Road King 2x12 cab, Fender Blues Jr. Humboldt, Marshall VS102R, Fender Champion 600, and Fender Frontman 25R.

Effects currently not in chain: Ross Compressor (MIT), Keeley Compressor (2-knob), Keeley TS-9, and TS-9 ('82).
