Anybody else notice the Tweed amp in his rig? Petty large one, I'm guessing it's a Super or Twin.

Tweeds are awesome, I'm a recent convert.

I was gonna post on here about that different amp.  I don't know if it was a tweed.  It looked more boutique to me.  But who knows?  I thought it was an amp head at first, but then realized that it is probably an amp turned on it's side and pointing towards page.  I can't say if he was using a speaker in it or not (I forgot to check for any mic's on the side).  But it was in place of his second speaker tower.
Guitars: Fender Clapton Strat, Ibanez AS80, Ibanez AF75, Malden Holly Keyser [SD Jazz (neck), SD '59 (bridge)], Carlo Robelli USH-500HB, Martin DC-1E ('98), and a Peavey Grind 5-string bass.

Effects in chain: Whammy II (dry out to Korg Tuner), RMC6, TS-9 ('82), TS-808 ('81), Ross Compressor, Fulltone SupaTrem, Fulltone DejaVibe2, TC Elec Nova Repeater, Ibanez Digital Modulation Delay III (DML20), Boomerang+, Alesis Microverb I, H&K Rotosphere MkII --> amps.

Amps: Mesa Boogie MkIII Blue Stripe, Egnator Rebel 20 head > Mesa Boogie Road King 2x12 cab, Fender Blues Jr. Humboldt, Marshall VS102R, Fender Champion 600, and Fender Frontman 25R.

Effects currently not in chain: Ross Compressor (MIT), Keeley Compressor (2-knob), Keeley TS-9, and TS-9 ('82).

Yeah there is some kind of tweed looking amp on one side of his rack, Mesa on the opposite side.

I noticed that too when I saw them last night....first set besides Wolfman's was ehh but second set was rockin' real good..Twwweeeeeezzerrr

He also seems to have started using his tremolo (quite a bit in fact...) for more subtle textural stuff instead of just for the stutter thing. Sounded good on the floor!

After viewing the band coming on stage on a 12/28/12 vid on youtube I have come to the conclusion it is a Victoria head, but i dont know which one.

ShockedAndPersuaded

Yeah I saw that. I think he's using it for all the vibrato stuff. His CAE tremolo is bad ass but it doesn't sound as good as a tweed tremolo. T'was the Tweed that had me tweaked.

That tube Vibrato is a suitable addition to his rig for sure.

Very nice addition, I could see him relying on this amp if the Mesa ever needed heavy repairs. I wouldn't have been able to tell what amp he was using on 12/28 if it wasn't for the the built in vibrato. This and the Fender DR would be a solid combination too.

We've seen him use this before; the fact that he has brought it back out might mean he likes it.  I dunno, it's really just a vibrato and nothing to get excited about.

Vibrato always gets me excited, ha
