CAE switching system

A general question about the CAE switching system.  Are all the loops wired in a series or as parallel loops?  Just having a look at trey's signal path and it would seem odd that the loop with the boomerang would come before the other effects (vibe/delay/verb; assuming that loop 1 comes first in the chain), wouldn't this make it so that sound from those effects can't be looped in the boomer?  Trying to build my own basic pedal switcher so just doing some research first.
