adding effects to DM2000 repeats

i noticed in The Clifford Ball DVD set during Free he sets up a delay loop before using his drum kit. During this he turns on Tremolo and Univibe long with changing amp channels. How does he have his effects processing in the DM2000 repeats

I would think the dm2000 is before the other effect so all the repeats would get the trem. I didn't listen to it but that's my guess.

I use a line 6 M13 and i found out a way to do it. I put the DM2000 in the M13's effects loop and have the effects loop set after my delays that way my modulation and reverb are set in the repeats.
