Stoccato tremolo sound

Does anyone know how Trey gets that really hard clipping stoccato sound?  Is it just the square wave function on the CAE Super Trem?  I don't think the Leslie is capable of such a pronounced effect.  You can hear it from 7:25 to 7:50 in this clip from the Camden Tweezer (I'm sure there are better examples, but this one came to mind):

I'm looking for a nice versatile tremolo that can switch back and forth between a mellow fender amp style trem and that hard clipping stoccato sound, preferably one with an expression pedal to control the speed.  Does anybody have any suggestions?

Get a line 6 M13. Your Tremolo, univibe, leslie, and delay loops are all in one pedalboard. Also get the Expression pedal from line 6
