It's been awhile since i've ran a modulation pedal, and i'd like to give a vibe pedal a try. I've seen the deja vibe by fulltone go for $180ish, but I'm interested in what other models are out there.

Thanks... my query was based more off of personal opinions.

I like how you can hook up an exp pedal to the uni-vibe! I was checking out the micro vibe by VL or the Soul Vibe by BBE. I might want to spring for the deja vibe too.. DAMN too many!

That website is awesome. So many options out there to chose from. The thing i like the most is how if you choose a Effect type it narrows it down to if its in a Rack Unit or if its a pedal and even if its a foot controlled item. No better place to go to see if its on Ebay as well

Yeah its got a bunch of categories you can choose from, so many to choose from - I thought this would be easy.

I had a fulltone Mini Deja Vibe, I really liked it, great tone and such, but in the end I sold it since I tend to use trem/phase/ and chorus a lot more... for similar effects.
Guitars: Paul Languedoc, Matt Atringer, David Myka, Ron Thorn

Amps: '65 Princeton Reverb, Clark '59 Bassman clone

I own the Deja Vibe 2 (the big one with built in expression pedal).  I love it!  But truth be told, I took it out of my chain once I got the Supa Trem.  Lately I've been thinking about putting it back in my chain, as it can be very subtle and used as a tone enhancer.  I would almost recommend getting the mini dejavibe because those big knobs are easier to adjust with your toe than trying to leave the expression pedal in a certain desired position.  Just my opinion, I imagine that the tone of the mini is the same as my older vibe 2, but I sometimes found it difficult to find the desired spot to leave the expression pedal at and lift my foot without my toe or heel nudging it from where I want it set.
Guitars: Fender Clapton Strat, Ibanez AS80, Ibanez AF75, Malden Holly Keyser [SD Jazz (neck), SD '59 (bridge)], Carlo Robelli USH-500HB, Martin DC-1E ('98), and a Peavey Grind 5-string bass.

Effects in chain: Whammy II (dry out to Korg Tuner), RMC6, TS-9 ('82), TS-808 ('81), Ross Compressor, Fulltone SupaTrem, Fulltone DejaVibe2, TC Elec Nova Repeater, Ibanez Digital Modulation Delay III (DML20), Boomerang+, Alesis Microverb I, H&K Rotosphere MkII --> amps.

Amps: Mesa Boogie MkIII Blue Stripe, Egnator Rebel 20 head > Mesa Boogie Road King 2x12 cab, Fender Blues Jr. Humboldt, Marshall VS102R, Fender Champion 600, and Fender Frontman 25R.

Effects currently not in chain: Ross Compressor (MIT), Keeley Compressor (2-knob), Keeley TS-9, and TS-9 ('82).

Hmm good to know.. did the Mini Deja Vibe do a good "machine gun" tone in terms of the vibe.

I think the Dunlop Univibe is a great choice or the Dunlop Rotovibe!!!

I just saw some videos on the Dunlop Univibe.  It seems to be the closest the the actual vintage Univibe and I guess you could say close to Trey's Black Cat Vibe.  Anyway it seems like it would be a nice addition to my Christmas wish list.  If anyone can state that they think there is a better Univibe pedal out there as far as replicating the desired tone, I want to know about it. ;D

I went with a Micro Vibe from Voodoo Labs, replicates the circuit of the original vibe and there may be a little volume drop but nothing too terrible. I can make you a video if you would like of a demo of the Micro Vibe.

I've got plenty of time on thursday! Will get it onto youtube for you then. The VL Micro Vibes can be found for around 80 on the used market, GC used section gives you a 30 day or so if you don't like it.

I checkout out some Micro Vibe videos and it seems good.  Also on the price low end is the Lovepedal Pickle Vibe but sounds great too.  Hmmm.
