Hey guys, got the new wah the middle of last week, and so far sounds pretty spot on to what i was hoping for and enough options to keep me busy for a while  ;D  A sweet top end, a smooth (after some tweaking on the trim pots) mid-range, and plenty of bottom end for some low pass filter effects.  Btw walker, how do you have your pedal set up? Mine could use a little more tweaking, and after hearing the recording of your show, seems like you've figured out a damn cool setting.  Cheers

All the gear is down at my jam spot right now.  I'll try to remember to check when I'm back down there.  I know I've messed around with a ton of settings on there, and probably will continue to do so.

i'm actually lookin to get another pedal as well....the guy I play in a band with has a boss RT-20 and i friggin love the thing.  I love that spacey, feedbacky sound it gives off....almost like a phaser.  Anyone have any suggestions of a pedal that is similar to this one (giving that kinda spacey, reverby, feedbacky feel to it) but not a twin pedal?  i'm lookin for somethin a little more compact and perhaps less expensive.  Earlier I was lookin into the phase 90, so I may give that a shot...Any suggestions would be great!

You may want to look into the analogman phase 45 w/ univibe mod, or any univibe clone at that.  The original univibe was designed to simulate a rotating speaker (just like the rt-20), but ended up creating a new chewier texture that is more like a phaser.  Any robin trower or later hendrix will give you an idea of the univibe sound. Btw, welcome!  :)

I saw a demo of it on tgp... It sounds frickin' incredible.  Almost makes me think about getting rid of my dejavibe2 and rotosphere, but then I saw the price, and even though I can sell my 2 pedals for more than it, I want to be done buying gear for now.

Hey guys, just made a big jump in my persuit...yesterday I ordered a couple cables from AO, and solderedsound.com cables to replace the GC brand cheapo ones I've been using for waaaay too long.  I was also able to get a couple extra hundo dollars for a Marshall Half-stack I won in a contest a while back.  All in all, a good day! I'll post some pics and give a review of the new cables when they arrive...

I'm selling my OCD tomorrow so its pedal search time again! I might just stick with one TS9 for now and get a mod effect. The Wilson Haze Vibe looks pretty nice especially for under $150 used

I just picked up a TC Hall of Fame Reverb pedal because my Carol Ann amp doesn't have onboard reverb. It's a pretty sweet pedal!

anyone know of any pedals that kind of simulate a leslie speaker rotary sound and a smaller price?  I'm thinkin the closest I could get to that spacey/hollow kind of sound that fits my budget would be something along the lines of a MXR Phase 90...my friend played with that but traded it in for an EH micro Qtron and it sounded so good

The only cheaper actual leslie I know of is the Boss RT-20. Then theres the way more expensive options like the Ventilator or Strymon Lex. Certain chorus pedals will probably get you a lot closer on a budget. Someone else might be able to shed some more light on the subject.

Moma is right about that^ not many actually leslie clones out there but a phaser or univibe clone will get you close on a budget.

The Phase 45 might get you closer than the 90 I would think.  Less midrange boost in the 45 from the demos I've heard, but if you liked the 90 your friend had, go for it!

Hey lemon what do you think of the SHOD? They seem to have a lot of hype right now

The Voce Spin II does a very nice job at mimiking a Leslie.  Not cheap at $400-$450 if I recall, but it's a sweet little stompbox that's a little bigger than a Whammy footprint.
