6v6 in my Blues Jr.!

I just finished an extensive mod on my Blues Jr. I removed the output sockets and installed octal sockets. The amp sounds BIG. Still super Fendery but with more balls. I might as well have a Deluxe Reverb at this point. Here is a clip. Only issue is that I think one of my new JJ output tubes is microphonic already:(

Nice work man! Definitely sounds different than EL84's. Very clean tone there, more headroom now as well?

I'll bet that was a fun mod though, too bad about the microphonic tube.

Thats a great song BTW, not a big Pearl Jam fan, but that one has some Hendrix flavor.
