Buffered- I was totally trying to catch what the speakers were too!  Someone here has to have a big enough HDTV that they're watching this on with better than 20/20 vision and confirm what those speakers are.

I do admit that I like these knew songs quite a bit.  Some are kind of cheesy, but still really catchy.  There is a certain maturity and growth we can hear from this band that's probably just produced it's best studio album in over 15 years.  I think it's their best try since Ghost, but from a songwriting/production aspect, I say it's easily their best effort since Billy Breathes.
Guitars: Fender Clapton Strat, Ibanez AS80, Ibanez AF75, Malden Holly Keyser [SD Jazz (neck), SD '59 (bridge)], Carlo Robelli USH-500HB, Martin DC-1E ('98), and a Peavey Grind 5-string bass.

I agree, I'm excited to see how they evolve this summer. Trey was using a real Univibe too!

Im glad someone else saw that too! SoOoOoOo vibey!

I also agree with Wilson on the new songs. Some of the backup "ooos" and "aaas" are a little goofy/cheesy but for the most part the album is super catchy and mature sounding.  Funnily enough, my least favorite song on the album is Fuego. I just can't wait to see it live however....Looking forward to summer tour!

I'm sure this has been discussed at length, but did anyone ever really find out about Trey's wah and whether its a Teese?

Analog Mike certainly seems to do a ton of work for Trey, would he perhaps have a definitive answer on what wah trey really has been using.

I'm also curious about the speakers in both the Bogner, and in the Languedoc Cabs.  Anyone ever get a close up on those?

And did Trey's Boogie have reverb?  I think it did, right?

This thread for the wah: http://strangedesign.org/forums/index.php?topic=2312.0

Pretty sure they are all Celestion speakers, couldn't tell on the model though, all I saw was G12.

Yes Trey's Boogie does have all the regular controls the only thing we are not sure of is if his red-stripes are simul-class.

Sco - thanks for the link, i remember reading that thread.  Appreciate you making it handy.

I guess it just seems like there are a lot of inconsistencies on the wah, I've seen it in person up close and def was just a Crybaby wah casing, looked no different.  And in the rig run down and Brian Brown interviews it seemed it was just a crybaby.  Brian Brown had said explicitly that it was just a stock crybaby.

So i'm curious if Analog Mike or anyone else has more definitive answers.

Don't think Analogman would know considering it doesn't really involve him. Could try asking though.

No, definitely doesn't involve him, but I think he's worked on a lot of Trey's pedals and he does great wah work.  So would surprise me little if he'd looked at or fixed Trey's wah if it were a stock cry baby.  And even if it were a Teese it wouldn't be shocking for him to have looked it over.
