I have a Deluxe Reverb Reissue and just swapped the stock Jensen c12 100 w with a Weber Blue Dog 50 w Ceramic with Light Dope... I was pretty happy with the Jensen and think it captured the Trey Tone pretty well, but from what I read this Weber would be a step up from this and actually be closer to the Trey tone.  It definitely sounds way crisper and overall just way more saturated... Actually solved the sound spike issue I was experiencing when engaging the TS9 silvers w/ Volume all the way up.   However, it's a totally different tone than I was expecting, and I think a step further away from the Trey tone... maybe it's still breaking in or i have to tweak some effect setting, etc.  but I was just interested in getting some opinions about this speaker and it's relationship to the tone I am trying to achieve.

Thoughts?

Wow, was I wrong.  Speaker just needed to be broken in more.  Sounds unreal.

Yeah, nice speaker. Glad to hear its working out for you. It takes about 20 hours at a decent volume for a speaker to start to sound right.
