Sam Holt plays the Hard Truckers cab

Last week I drove down to Auburn with a friend of mine to see Outformation. Last time I saw Sam was at a Christmas party in Atlanta where I introduced him to Glenn. I asked Sam if he ever got up with Glenn to test a cab. He said he hadn't so I offered to bring mine down on Friday to try out. he said, \"bring it\".

Friday night I brought it down. Sam and Eli hooked it up after sound check. After about 10 minutes he came over and asked if he could play the 1st set with it. Well, the 1st set sounded incredible. At set break that was all he talked about. He ended up playing the rest of the show with it. After the show the band came back and partied with us. I wouldn't be surprised if he makes a purchase after this tour.

The band came back over after the show and we raged the rest of the night. Beth and I ended up going ahead and driving another couple hours top Jackson, MS for one more show. We got there a bit late to get the cab setup but at set break Sam got Eli to help him get it hooked up.

We had a great time at the shows. We got to see a lot of old friends and made plenty of new ones.

That's it. That recording isn't the best. That was from Charles's rig. There will be another source before too long. another friend of mine had come down with Charles. Charles ran the scheops and Chris ran something else. We are going to a couple more out411 shows in the next couple months. I'm sure Sam will play through it againa nd hopefully this time we will get a better recording.
