Horrible music!

Here's a link to one of our last gigs. I had the sound guy plug in my br600 recorder. We call the band "the andrew yankowsky band" because andrew writes most of the songs and we just back him and his acoustic. We rarely practice and he always has new songs for us to learn in 5 minutes and solos get figured out on the fly as you can tell. But getting everybody out and partying is the goal. This particular night was a late edition and we already had a gig the next night so turnout was low. Sucks playing to an empty bar but it's always fun for me to try to mesh with andrew's odd sense of timing and matt's great horn playing.

Great recording.  After hearing this I'm more pissed now that I missed the gig.  Fuck me.  Make sure to give me a heads up on your next one?

What OD are you using in song #2 solo?  I think it was song 2.

PS - I've booked you guys to play at Libbypalooza VI in August (and won't take no for an answer).  Probably 3rd weekend 8/17 & 8/18...possibly 4th weekend 8/24 & 8/25, so keep both open!

We will be playing together on stage too (finally!)  I am going to make sure to keep a bigger slot open for the UberJam at the end of the night.  ;D 8)

I was using a "rebel scum" fuzz pedal. Usually it comes through louder but with no sound check other than the first song we played, I didn't realize the volume level was lower than my 2 screamers. I'm constantly changing the "dirty" pedal on my board. I haven't settled on one yet.

That's awesome. Those are friday- saturdays right? The drummer and I both work on the 18th so hopefully it's the 24,25th. That is something to look forward to. Thanks.

Definitely a Friday/Saturday.  If it ends up being on the 18th then we'll schedule you guys for the 19th.  A lot of factors still to be determined, so not sure which date but will keep ya posted.  See you Friday!   ;D
