Hi guys,

If any of you cats in Portland area knows of a good, chill bass player looking to play rehearse once a week and out once a month , give him my info?  My brother is filling in temporarily but ultimately we need a permanant solution.  Gigs booked through August.

There's a guy named Rob Derhak that lives right in Falmouth. He's pretty good with a bass.

Funny, and no I'm not calling up Gordo.

And I'll just say this about that: I already have been down that road (many many times) and sometimes you just know what will work and what won't work.  This works on the short-term.  I'll also say that it's too bad because there's nobody I'd rather have playing bass.
