I have one of these extension cords in my basement to turn on my fun lights.  These are popular for Christmas trees too since you can just step on the switch easily.  Who knows what it's controlling.  It could be stage lights or some signal to the band or crew.  Oooo a mystery button!

Sweet guitar!!! Take a look at the TS's....looks like the one of the right is the Analogman and the left is a regular Ibanez....interesting.  He also seems to have jacked up the settings on his comp.  Cool footage all around!

I believe that the Red Button might be for the Mesa Boogie to turn the EQ on. I could be wrong though. I cant remember what the footswitch beside the TC Nova is myself so who knows.

Very well could be! I think I saw "acoustic" written on some painter's tape on the floor, maybe it's part of his acoustic rig?

Still sounds like Trey!

cool video, can't believe he is playing that guitar! You can hear how those pups interact differently with the TS compared to the ones in his Doc, not to mention, it seemed like he was getting a little noise, most noticeable when the vibe is reaching the deep end (though it could just be listening to it on my computer).

Not sure what that red button is either... it is kind of dividing his acoustic and electric rig, it could be to toggle between the two. It could also be for his Mesa, but probably not EQ since he seems to set the EQ to engage when the lead channel is engaged - so if that is for the Mesa, I would bet it is for the lead channel.

OK sorry I'm being a stickler but I seriously doubt this 5 dollar extension chord is part of anything in the sonic rig.

Look at 1:02 in the video.  His tech is moving the fans on the floor and these extension chords are surrounding the fan.  Knowing that these unsheilded chords from Walmart can only accept a 2 prong plug, doesn't it make sense that they probably control the fans?  Depending on how hot it gets on stage, Trey can somewhat keep TABs (that's a pun) on his local climate.

But if not the fans, then something that's not going to be a show stopper if it fails.

Maybe I'm wrong.  Maybe that's Brian Brown's new top of the line hand made cable and it summons Icarus from Gamehenge in the middle of a jam and Trey becomes possessed by the spirit. :P

I would guess that one on the left is an original from the early 80's. I would also like to mention that he is using a made in taiwan ross.

Good work Happy!

And fulltone, the "acoustic" tape is just marking the stand which his acoustic is now mounted on.  I assume we'll see this like that on the tour so he can access it easily...?  Who knows.  Still that Jaguar makes me feel funny and not in a good way.  I guess I'll get used to it...

The Jaguar just looks unstable.  I've played guitars like that and keeping them in tune is impossible but hey he might have a special one.  These tuning pegs look like they are not ideal and the tremolo is probably not the best.  But it's something fun to play with.

Hey look at this video of for the first couple of seconds (0:06) where there is a switch on the floor labeled TALK TO THE BAND.

Looks like he's only using the jaguar for certain songs. The single coil pickups are noisy. Notice how he's using the bar and the whammy at the same time? I don't think it will stay in tune for more than one tune.
